El proyecto reúne diversas publicaciones realizadas durante los últimos años en las que hay dos líneas de trabajo diferenciadas:
Por un lado publicaciones en las que toma protagonismo la representación gráfica tanto de acontecimientos sociales como reflexiones personales sobre lo que acontece al autor. Todo ello sin palabras, sólo con ilustraciones. Se apela al lector a interpretar dichas imágenes y construir un relato de lo representado.
Y por otro lado publicaciones que son la representación simulada de contenidos e información. Reducidas a una atractivo reclamo visual la información de estas publicaciones encierra la sospecha de una paradoja. Somos víctimas de nuestro propio refinamiento. Seducidos y atrapados por elaborados estímulos visuales que manan ininterrumpidamente de las pantallas. Reduciendo el conocimiento a una piel que muda a cada golpe de scroll.
También se expondrán dibujos e ilustraciones y los cuadernos-diarios de dibujos originales.
ORP project brings together various publications made in recent years in which there are two distinct lines of work:
On the one hand publications in which takes prominence the graphic representation of both social events and personal reflections on what happens to the author. All this without words, only with illustrations. The reader is called upon to interpret these images and build a story of what is represented.
And on the other hand, publications that are the simulated representation of content and information. Reduced to an attractive visual claim, the information in these publications encloses the suspicion of a paradox. We are victims of our own refinement. Seduced and trapped by elaborate visual stimuli that flow uninterruptedly from the screens. Reducing knowledge to a skin that moults with every scroll stroke. Drawings and illustrations will also be exhibited, as well as the original sketchbooks-diaries.

Esta edición publicada en abril de 2024 reúne dibujos realizados durante estos últimos dieciocho meses y cuya razón de ser es la lectura del libro titulado Primavera silenciosa de Rachel Carson. La primera edición de este ensayo científico es de 1960 y la autora ya alertaba en ese momento del peligro que suponía toda la química aplicada para el exterminio de insectos en los campos de los principales países industrializados.
Rachel Carson pudo predecir el futuro que nos esperaba. Hoy sabemos de estos efectos y de otras muchas causas que están alterando de forma irreversible nuestro entorno. Y también sabemos que si no cambiamos nuestro presente será muy fácil predecir un catastrófico futuro.
Cada página de este periódico es la reproducción de un dibujo original realizado a medida que leía Primavera silenciosa. Es un trabajo en proceso que una vez terminado me ha llevado a otros dibujos. No es un masaje optimista. Es un grito de alerta y un aviso de nuestra incompetencia y falta de inteligencia en la relación que tenemos con nuestro entorno natural.
Son imágenes de un futuro que llega.

This edition, published in April 2024, brings together drawings made over the past eighteen months, whose origin lies in the reading of the book «Silent Spring» by Rachel Carson. The first edition of this scientific essay dates back to 1960, when the author was already warning about the dangers posed by the use of chemicals for the extermination of insects in the fields of the major industrialized countries.
Rachel Carson was able to predict the future that awaited us. Today we know about these effects and many other causes that are irreversibly altering our environment. And we also know that if we don’t change our present, it will be easy to predict a catastrophic future.
Each page of this newspaper is the reproduction of an original drawing made as I read Silent Spring. It is a work in progress that, once completed, has led me to other drawings. It is not an optimistic massage. It is a cry of alarm and a warning of our incompetence and lack of intelligence in the relationship we maintain with our natural environment.
These are images of a future that is arriving.
