Fanzines y libros, de cómic o dibujo. Los fanzines de cómic en ocasiones forman series alrededor de un tema concreto, como pueden ser la infancia, el amor y el desamor, la sexualidad contemporánea o la angustia existencial. Tales temas son siempre tratados desde el sentido del humor y el pensamiento crítico. Los fanzines de dibujos también se organizan de alguna manera en torno a un tema, sugerido en el título de cada publicación. Los dibujos, sencillos y a línea, vienen alimentando desde hace años un universo iconográfico singular, que pendula entre lo luz y la oscuridad.
Fanzines and books, comic or drawing. Comic fanzines sometimes form series around a specific theme, such as childhood, love and heartbreak, contemporary sexuality or existential anguish. Such themes are always treated with a sense of humor and critical thinking. The fanzines of drawings are also organized in some way around a theme, suggested in the title of each publication. The drawings, simple and line drawings, have been feeding for years a singular iconographic universe, which oscillates between light and darkness.
THE MOST BEAUTIFUL **** IN THE WORLD es la versión censurada y en formato fanzine de mi libro THE MOST BEAUTIFUL COCK IN THE WORLD, donde se incluían 170 dibujos a línea del mismo pene dibujados del natural. Libro cuya publicación solo fue posible gracias a la ayuda económica de la Residencia de artistas visuales de Matadero. La censura es aplicada en el fanzine mediante rectángulos negros, resultando una secuencia rítmica puramente gráfica.
«THE MOST BEAUTIFUL **** IN THE WORLD» is the censored version in fanzine format of my book «THE MOST BEAUTIFUL COCK IN THE WORLD», which included 170 line drawings of the same penis drawn from life. The publication of this book was only possible thanks to the financial support of the Residence for Visual Artists of Matadero.
Censorship is applied in the fanzine by means of black rectangles, resulting in a purely graphic rhythmic sequence.
