Zamân Books & Curating
Zamân Books & Curating se dedica al estudio de las modernidades árabe, africana y asiática, trabajando hacia la emergencia de una historia del arte transnacional y poscolonial. Estas nuevas cartografías de la historia del arte se desarrollan a través de exposiciones monográficas y colectivas, la revista de investigación Zamân, textes, images & documents, y diferentes tipos de publicaciones (monografías, libros de artista, libros temáticos y colectivos), así como la reedición –o traducción– de material raro y por redescubrir.
Zamân Books & Curating is dedicated to the study of Arab, African and Asian modernities, working towards the emergence of a transnational and postcolonial art history. Such new mappings of art histories develop through monograph and collective exhibitions, the research journal «Zamân, textes, images & documents», and different kinds of publication (monographs, artists books, thematic and collective books), as well as reediting – or translanting – to-be-rediscovered and rare material.

Un proyecto de exposición y publicación tricontinental que toma la forma de una monografía multiautor para mostrar a un artista cuyo trabajo crea un espacio de conexión con uno mismo; para estar en el aquí y ahora.
Publicado en francés, inglés y árabe, coeditado por SCMA y Zamân Books & Curating, esta monografía incluirá contribuciones de investigadores, directores de museos y científicos, haciendo una aportación significativa a la historia del arte contemporáneo, incluyendo ensayos de Emma Chubb y del escritor y poeta Omar Berrada.
La publicación está estructurada en 3 movimientos entre las polaridades activas en la obra de Younes Rahmoun: Migración/Raíces, Único/Múltiple y Aquí/Allí, destacando así los principales temas de su obra, que busca lo universal.

A tricontinental exhibition and publication project that takes the form of a multiauthor monograph to showease an artist whose work creates space to connect with the self; to be in the here and now.
Published in French, English and Arabic, co-edited by SCMA and Zamân Books & Curating, this monograph will include contributions from researchers, museum directors and scientists, making a significant contribution to the history of contemporary art, including essays by Emma Chubb & the writer and poet Omar Berrada.
The publication is structured in 3 movements between the active polarities in Younes Rahmoun‘s work: «Migration/Rootedness», «Single/Multiple» and «Here/Elsewhere», thus highlighting the major themes of his work, which aims for the universal.
