Utilizo el grabado y la estampación (en concreto la serigrafía) como medio de expresión y la autoedición como resultado final de mi trabajo artístico, el cual está realizado sobre papel (un material increíble), siempre a mano, lo cual me permite conservar esas pequeñas imperfecciones del trabajo manual, poniendo atención en los detalles visuales, e incluso táctiles, que hacen especial a una obra.
I use printmaking and stamping (specifically screen printing) as a means of expression, and self-publishing as the final result of my artistic work, which is done on paper (an incredible material), always by hand. This allows me to preserve the small imperfections of manual work, paying attention to the visual and even tactile details that make a piece special.
Me lo dijo Dorotea: este libro recoge algunas de las historias que me contaba mi abuela y las fotografías que realicé buscando qué queda o cómo se ha transformado aquello de lo que me hablaba las tardes de invierno al calor del brasero o tomando el fresco las noches de verano.
«Me lo dijo Dorotea»: this book collects some of the stories my grandmother used to tell me and the photographs I took, searching for what remains or how what she spoke of has transformed—those winter afternoons by the warmth of the brazier or summer nights enjoying the cool air.
