Somos una editorial activista sin ánimo de lucro, todos los beneficios son para fines sociales y para continuar editando libros. Tenemos la firme intención de seguir con los objetivos que tejimos con Pastora: difundir historias humildes y hermosas, de lucha contra las cárceles (tanto físicas como mentales), el capacitismo, el colonialismo, el especismo, el régimen heterosexual y el sistema capitalista que sustenta toda opresión y mantener viva la memoria de aquellas que, como Pastora, lucharon y luchan contra viento y marea.
Queremos dar las gracias a todas las personas que nos ayudan con el proyecto, de la manera que sea, para que todo esto tire adelante. Entre todas, formamos un ejército de ratillas insubordinadas diseminadas por multitud de lugares. Sin todas esas energías, no sería posible.

We are an activist, non-profit publishing house; all profits go toward social causes and to continuing our work publishing books. We are firmly committed to carrying forward the goals we established with Pastora: sharing humble and beautiful stories, struggles against prisons (both physical and mental), ableism, colonialism, speciesism, the heterosexual regime, and the capitalist system that underpins all oppression, while keeping alive the memory of those who, like Pastora, have fought and continue to fight against all odds.
We want to thank everyone who supports the project in any way, helping it move forward. Together, we form an army of insubordinate little mice spread across countless places. Without all that energy, none of this would be possible.

Pastora nos traslada en estas páginas al infierno carcelario, a las cloacas del estado de la mano de su hijo Xosé Tarrío, 14 años encerrado, 12 en los módulos FIES, la cárcel dentro de la cárcel, el infierno dentro del infierno. Desgarrador testimonio de una madre ingobernable y de su lucha infatigable por arrancar a su hijo de las garras del presidio.
Aquí nos narra todas las vejaciones que tuvo que sufrir su hijo en carne propia por ser pobre y rebelarse ante las injusticias, unido a todo lo que tuvo que ver, oír y soportar de todas las aberraciones que cometieron contra Tarrío,
Una guerra desigual que no mermara ni un ápice las energías para mantener intacta su dignidad.
«La cárcel solo fue hecha para los pobres. Todo lo que le estorba a la sociedad y toda persona rebelde acaba ahí, pero a un rico no lo veréis nunca, a lo mejor un mes o dos, y no en las condiciones en que están nuestros familiares. A mi que no me digan que existe la justicia, porque para la gente pobre no hay.»

Pastora takes us in these pages into the prison hell, into the sewers of the state, guided by her son Xosé Tarrío, 14 years incarcerated, 12 of them in the FIES modules—the prison within the prison, hell within hell. A harrowing testimony of an ungovernable mother and her tireless struggle to pull her son from the clutches of imprisonment.
Here she recounts all the abuses her son suffered firsthand for being poor and rebelling against injustice, alongside everything she had to see, hear, and endure regarding the atrocities committed against Tarrío. A profoundly unequal struggle that did not diminish in the slightest her energy to keep their dignity intact.
«Prisons were made only for the poor. Everything that bothers society and every rebellious person ends up there, but you’ll never see a rich person there—maybe for a month or two, and not under the conditions our relatives endure. Don’t tell me justice exists, because for poor people, it does not.»
«We cannot close our eyes to all this brutality. Wherever there is injustice, we must be there to shout, we must not be afraid. We must keep fighting.»
