Joan Fontcuberta, Premio Nacional de Fotografía (1998) y de Ensayo (2011), conjuga aquí su doble trayectoria para seguir explorando las fracturas de la cultura visual contemporánea.
Tanto a través de la práctica artística como de la reflexión crítica, esta recopilación de textos se adentra en las «latencias» de la imagen: los rastros e improntas con los que la fotografía deja su marca en la experiencia humana, ya sea en lo afectivo, lo social o lo político. ¿Qué queda en el siglo XXI de la fotografía como fragmento y vestigio, como acto de curiosidad y archivo? ¿Qué queda en la era de la posverdad y los selfis, en la era de las ventanas indiscretas de las redes sociales y de la inteligencia artificial generativa?
