Artium Museoa / Museo Artium
El Museo de Arte Contemporáneo del País Vasco-Artium Museoa es un museo español dedicado al arte y la cultura contemporáneas ubicado en Vitoria (Álava, País Vasco). El museo cuenta con una importante colección de arte vasco y español de los siglos XX y XXI, un fondo con cerca de 3.000 piezas. Artium Museoa se distingue además por sus exposiciones temporales, tanto colectivas -con temas vinculados al tiempo actual- como individuales. Por sus salas han pasado algunas de los principales y más significativos creadores del panorama nacional e internacional. El edificio es una singular construcción cuyas tres cuartas partes se encuentran bajo el nivel de la calle, lo que le ha dado el apelativo de museo-bodega, y es obra del arquitecto vitoriano José Luis Catón. El museo se inauguró el 26 de abril de 2002.
The Museum of Contemporary Art of the Basque Country–Artium Museoa is a Spanish museum dedicated to contemporary art and culture, located in Vitoria (Álava, Basque Country). The museum holds an important collection of Basque and Spanish art from the 20th and 21st centuries, comprising nearly 3,000 works. Artium Museoa is also distinguished by its temporary exhibitions, both group shows—focused on themes related to the present moment—and solo exhibitions. Many of the most prominent and significant artists from the national and international scenes have exhibited in its galleries.
The building itself is a unique construction, with three quarters of its structure located below street level—earning it the nickname “wine-cellar museum.” It was designed by architect José Luis Catón from Vitoria. The museum opened to the public on April 26, 2002.
boz. es una colección de libros vinculados al Centro de Investigación y Documentación de Artistas Vascas, Prácticas artísticas y Teorías del Arte feministas. Se trata de una serie de publicaciones que compilan textos y escritos de artistas, teóricas y otras profesionales que forman parte de los programas del museo y su colección.
Gema Intxausti (Gernika, 1966) inaugura la serie con un volumen nacido del trabajo de la artista durante su residencia en el museo de septiembre a noviembre de 2022.

boz. is a collection of books linked to the Center for Research and Documentation of Basque Artists, Artistic Practices and Feminist Theories of Art. It is a series of publications that compile texts and writings by artists, theoreticians and other professionals who are part of the museum’s programs and its collection.
Gema Intxausti (Gernika, 1966) inaugurates the series with a volume born from the artist’s work during her residency at the museum from September to November 2022.
